What does Oktoberfest have to do with Texas and why is it in September?
Leveraging an epic German-style brewery where Saint Arnold is to Houston as Sam Adams is to Boston, this MedTech conference is a combination of an ode to the German heritage of Texas dating back to the 1840’s, a celebration of the medical resources of Houston, and has warmer and longer days than in October in order to enjoy beer gardens and festivities, which is the original reason why Bavaria moved Oktoberfest to September.
In other words, we ran out of reasons to not have Oktoberfest in Houston in September. It is a reason to get together, build relationships, and have fun with people that can make a positive impact on MedTech innovation and commercialization.
The Houston MedTech Oktoberfest brings together a curated group of MedTech leaders including corporate strategics, investors, executive operators, academic institutions, and industry partners for two days of meaningful conversations, industry insight, and relationship-driven networking in a relaxed, informal, and engaging environment.
